The Will Is the Essence of Reality

There's nothing that has this drive. Well, all the individual things that make up the world. So, but before they existed, this will existed, right? I don't think you can really say that. It's not entirely clear how to coherently describe the will as striving given that he thinks it exists outside of time. To describe the will in a state of perpetual strife and flux is hard to reconcile with it being a temporal. We don't have any special place in the world. We're just another organic species.
