Nibe Was the Director of Red River

Howard hawks was an acclaimed film maker of the time. An director of such films as red river, a rio bravo, 19 32, scarface, eldorado and hatari. It's said that nibe was an instrumental editor in many of his films. And it's been argued that perhaps hawks thought syphi was beneath him and didn't want his name on it.
