The Impact of Sexual Abuse on a Child's Life
Kai's parents and grandmother spoke with the Philadelphia Inquirer about his life. Gil told the National Post that he was sexually abused at a residential school. In an interview with California radio station KSLG in March 2013, Kai said he was raped when he was 17 years old. He also said that he felt violated by a defense attorney and had fights with people he perceived as bully.
