Back when Thomas Edison demonstrated things like record players and movies, it freaked some people out. If you were able to do the kind of card tricks he was talking about 150 years ago, you would have been one of the richest people in town. Today, if you could do those things, you might be lucky to get 10,000 views on YouTube filled with comments of people telling you they know how you did the trick. Something happened to the future along the way.
