In the early 1990s, Cambodia was very big news. The United Nations were mounting their biggest ever peacekeeping operation up to that time. And we read these press articles which said the Khmer Rouge were trading timber from Cambodia's rainforests with timber companies in Thailand. We thought, why doesn't somebody look at that? Why doesn't someone go there and get information about it? If it is true, then maybe you could advocate with governments to close that border. That was the idea.
