How Do You Think Like a Human Being?

In the book, one of the most compelling parts is the relationship that builds between rocky and n anrilan rice. And yet, of course, it presupposes a cognitive compatibility, right? Why i, as the reader, wou actually add you almost think in the same kind of qualitative styleor you have the same conceptual abilities? It's maxed for a great narrative device, but how did you think about that in terms of what led you to that?
