The Fed's Expectation of a Recession in the US
I think there's a concern about a recession in the US. To me, those concerns are a little bit premature at Salkja. So my real concern is that the market is not fully appreciating the fact that come middle of next year, if the unemployment rate is not heading towards 4%, we're still stuck at say 3.7 or 3.8. The Fed might have to go beyond five in a quarter. I'm not saying that that's our base case scenario, but that's a risk scenario that the market isn't fully appreciating.
