Any effort to deal with climate change by eliminating fossil fuels has to include internationalist redistribution at its core. The book is really concerned with a set of figures who lived, you know, whose projects weremer ged and thoughet between the 19 forties and seventies. In some ways they too are embedded in a moment that's deeply tethered to the idea of growth as a kind of ongoing project. And it's one that we don't share as a horizon of possibility any longer.
