The Good Samaritan in the Gospels
Pope Francis has been meditating of late on the figure of the good Samaritan in the gospels. We're supposed to model our lives after that pattern reaching out to those in need, he says. And if we can, if we can grow into that, then thanks be to God. But you know, that doesn't mean you have to go from zero to 10% in a day. It's like just such a great way then to describe what it means to tithe.
