The Self Betrayal of Teenagers

The Virginia Tech shooting had happened right around the time my son was one or two, like just that age where I was thinking a lot about school. So I remember connecting that so many kids have this self hate and all these problems with teenagers. And you know, it's easy to look at it like teenage rebellion or teenage problems. But what we do until their teens is what comes out at that time, right? That's the time they are,. We have already put so much of this in their mind that they have. They struggle when they reach that point where they're supposed to become this person who picks from all this adult and world experience that we've given them before that.
