The Importance of an Audience in a Performance
I wonder how many people were genuinely moved by your performance at the c e h on that fateful evening, when you came off stage and you cried. Maybe some our listeners will know of somebody who said, yes, i was really touched by that particular performance. I have so many thoughts in response to what you said. Well, actually, it's such an interesting question, because the thing about improvisation is that you listened to the audience. And that's what i failed to do that night. So they gave me a huge wake up call and learning perience that gave me a big lesson that night.
