Are African-American Soldiers Working in War Related Industries?
25 percent of the African-American soldiers didn't know what they were fighting for and in fact were really against the war. Most of these guys were from urban areas where you probably would have had by then the nation of Islam like Chicago and New York. A huge part of why the Allies win is the mobilization of African man African-American manpower at home too in war related industries. Here we have the same issues it's like okay you know we definitely need you to build these tanks or in this shipyard or whatever but we're not going to treat equally.
