Rage is one way that nature gets us to prioritize the interests of our groups over our narrow self interest. Terrorist organizations have long used rage as a recruiting tool for new followers. Fury can drive massacres, wars and genicide. If we were to eliminate rage or to logically determine when to get angry, we lose the speed and potency of sudden anger.
