Are We Alone in the Universe?

This is the first decade we'll have a decent shot actually answering that question. By trying to imagine all sorts of life that looks nothing like earths, we give ourselves the best possible chance of finding something if it's there. One or two things a goin to happen by the end o this decade. Either we'll discover something which will be profound, or in the next ten years, we're gong to discover nothing.
