Cytopenia after CAR T cell therapy has been increasingly recognized as a significant complication that can occur in up to 30 to 40 percent of recipients. Current guidelines describe neurological features that fall into the definition of immune effector cell associated neurotoxysidis syndrome also called icons. However more rare complications are generally not described in current guidelines and therefore we thought that by gathering a group of experts including neurologists who are commonly called to see patients undergoing this type of complications we could provide awareness towards this type ofRare events, Fabiana Perna said.
