Is There a Way to Add Options to the Yaml Extension Format?

Most of the text editing is done in a web browser. And and you are your your text isn't technically being handled directly through a cocoa text field. It's it's subject to whatever kind of text editor they built in a webkit field, which is unpredictable. I have never explored exactly how much of that translates to the yaml extension format.
