The Gargoyle Club

Montague and the beautiful secretary Jean Leslie are an arm right up to the ticket taker. Between the four of them, they have two complete tickets and two tickets lacking stubs. The entire story is a lie but for this gatekeeper, Montague knows he needs to put all his effort into that first impression. It's a rollicking show filled with singing, dancing laughs. After the final curtain, the double date go for a nightcap at the Gargoyle Club. This is a bittersweet moment because within a few hours, Bill Martin is going to be found dead.
