What Happens in the Sacraments and the Eucharist?

The Eucharist is illuminated for us in these stories. We see here that Jesus is able to open the eyes of the blind and many people are not able to see what is present when we celebrate the Eucharist. It takes eyes of faith to recognize that it's not just bread and wine that's before us, but the son of David. So mercy on a son of David is a sign of his great love for us. And so think about that next time you're at Mass and you use those words from Scripture.
