Introduction
In 19 95, only two per cent of people in eastern europe and asia had access to the world wide web. In some histories, the internet is this american invention that gets packed up and exported to everybody else. But things were a lot more complicated than that. Every nation has its own economic, cultural and political dynamics that fundamentally changed the way they came on line. We'll visit three different nations to learn how they each built their own on line futures back in 19 95.
