Buddhism is a clearly laid out description of something. There's no doubt that if you do mindfulness meditation, you can develop focus. You go from a very scattered kind of state of mind distracted all the time to just kind of bringing your attention back together and so stabilizing it. The compassion and emptiness are really very strongly connected experiences. That's what we're really working with.
