Linda Scarberry became one of John Keel's go-to interviewees when it came to his Mothman research. Some people therefore suggest that Keel's influence may have colored Linda's perspective. About a month after the chase, Linda said that she saw the Mothman sitting on the roof of her house with its arms, legs, and wings folded around itself.
