Syrian Red Crescent Says Sanctions Hurt Aid to the Needy

Three prominent Christian leaders in Syria issued a joint letter Tuesday calling for an end to sanctions against Syria. They say they are unjustly preventing vital aid from reaching the people most affected by the devastating earthquake that struck the region earlier this week. At least 12,391 have died in Turkey, and 2,992 have been killed in Syria. And oh, of course, Blinken cancels his trip because he is just a very bad bad at his job at being a diplomat.
