Game Developers - What Is Ethical Game Development?
Game developers have to balance making money and return value with the needs of their users. "I think where a lot of companies end up in is just maximizing profit," says game developer John Defterios. In his own game, Zombies Run, he doesn't reward people for playing mindlessly every day. That's not how running works or how from fitness works,. And so that's something where profit is at conflict with your ethics.
