The Importance of Listening to Your Body

When Bernard LeGatz lines up for a training session with runners half his age he doesn't give himself permission that he might be struggling because of his age. In my PhD I had the pleasure of working with a gentleman called Norm Gull-Ranson. He was a high performance distance runner half marathon marathon runner and he had the same belief that I listen to my body but I try not to let it dominate. So physiologically he wasn't able to perform in an intable session or a run he'd slow down they'd listen to his body but he wouldn't Wouldn't be driven by how he started his session their perception.
