The Different Types of Compensation for Private Equity Investments
The management fee is the money that you get for overseeing this investment. Independent sponsors will range from very hands-on, which I've been with this deal, to very hands-off and have many, many, many deals. And on the third piece of compensation, the carry, where the real interesting numbers would come from, that also presupposes to your point, this is private equity. The default expectation would be that it's a five to seven year home.
