The Problem With Complex Molecules
A molecule is an information ship in a bottle. If you find a complex molecule, you haven't found the alien, but you've found evidence the alien made the thing. And I think NASA and people working in astrobiology and people thinking about complexity got this realized correctly. You can't just get information for free, but how can we encapsulate it?
