80% of people that we speak to do not report their experiences. The danger of these delays is that people who are already draumatized by their experience of rape or sexual assault, are then retramatized by the process of seeking justice for that attack. If i am a sexual abuser and i look at just those numbers, you know what message do i get? You weare telling people that there's a really good chance your going to get awayway with it.
