Are There Any Resources for Slavery?
i think it's a tricky issue, and i'm willing to acknowledge that there are people with more of an economic background that probably can give a better answer than i can. If that had been the only portion of the essay, i probably wouldn't have signed on to debate it. There is a book called slavery and the founders, race and liberty in the age of jefferson by a paul finklman. He pretty much trashes them in the essay, because he's trying to steal. Man, why somebody like thomas jefferson wouldn't want to give up slavery?
