The Importance of Direct Hands-on Work With Survivors
i would encourage people who are looking for a place to get to start there and to literally do your own research into charities. work is mainly done by the government and that's one thing that i think isn't especially helpful about the um the movie that's come out. labor trafficking is just as big of an issue as sex trafficking and one thing that you can do directly is working with a local anti-trafficking group. You don't have to just give your money to someone else who makes claims that might be hard for you to verify There are other things that folks can do besides funding raids and rescues.
