The Principle of Attitude of Consistency
You know, it might not surprise you to hear that we can often predict people's behaviors if we know their thoughts and their feelings about the attitude. And so you might be surprised to find our actions also have an influence on our thoughts and feelings. So take a look at this: You're going down to buy a new car and you know you're there, but you don't quite have the money. But boy, it feels good driving that car because you developed an attitude. That's what salespeople do. They help you develop an attitude to make you feel like you need something.
