The Letter to My Father

I saw a man conflicted with who he was and what he wanted to be. I saw my father tortured by the things he was about to do. The boy came to me again, but this time I didn't panic. He waved me to the door and hobbled out to the hallway. My mind floating as it had done before. After that, things were fine for a while. But like all good times in that house, it didn't last. Maybe that makes it all my fault. If I had told him to stop going out to that shrine, if IHad told him to get help, maybe he wouldn't have done the things he did.
