Stephen Abney met Mrs. Bunch for the first time when he was just six years old. She made him completely at home and they were great friends in a quarter of an hour. He asked her if mr. Abney would go to heaven, but she told him that decision is believed to be reserved for other tribunals. The pair remained good friends until Stephen's death one year later.
