There was definitely a sort of element of, I don't use the word group thing, but there's consensus around on the liberal left that this was a huge mistake from the outset. And certainly the Guardian was very, very vocal in attacking Tony Blair for it. Was there a sense that in a way you were unusual for taking a more nuanced view?
