The two different types of mario es, like the lineer and the non lineer. Galaxy is actually a linear game. A odyssey really just like wen open world in a way that no mario game had gone before. And bowser's furor fury,. is the closest to odyssy, actually. The big trick, and the big kind of a mechanic that changed everything for a mario game with odyssey was that every time you collected one of the moons, it wouldn't eel like, ok, end of the stage. Now you exit the world, now you can go somewhere else.
