i spent a couple of days in debuke a few years ago. It was actually oe of the most effective writing retreats i've ever done. I would write for a while, and then i'd go walk around and look like the old historic court house and the old historic theatre building. Then i found the old carnegie library, then walk up the hill in the bluffs, and then look the little city from the hill. And it was a lot of fun. That's my story from debuke.
