The Joke Buster
I can't write a scene unless I know Ben's intention in this scene. The last thing I want to laminate onto the scene is the joke So that the humor would come out of the worldview. As soon as you have a strong point of view you begin orchestrating characters to conflict with a firm push against that point of view and People call it sitcoms. That's a that's a misnomer.
