Introduction
Professor Amrit Tanarlykar is the president of the German Institute for Global and Area Studies. She's an economist and regular commentator of multilateral organizations and India in them. We want to talk about India and its foreign policy both in the year of India's presidency of T20 as well as its general approach towards multilateralism. With the T20 summit emphasizing on giving the global South more voice, Prime Minister Modi wants to present India as a leading player in convening Western powers and developing countries.
