How to Trace Your Own Drawings
Terence Moore: Tracing is not cheating unless you're breaking the rules. He says it's just a bad idea for students trying to get better at proportions by tracing their work. When he was 18 years old and there was a woman in his community who had the ability to look at anything, any artwork, and in a matter of lines like that, line like that, divide that thing up into right or left parts. Now I think we might be veering off from where we went here with tracing because now I could contain that hard earned skill.
