The Chinese Miracle Is a Phenomenon
China's response to the pandemic was by far more competent than the US response. The West lurched a copy China and in into lockdowns, which we could never really successfully emulate. We don't fully appreciate that in part of this miracle, like in part of every success, that might be the seeds for its own demise.
