I developed a lot of sympathy for Donald Trump because it seemed like the media was picking on him. It seemed like the establishment was going after him unnecessarily or unfairly. I think that people who feel that he got a disproportionately high sentence because of his symbolic value and because of what happened on January the 6th, have a point. They can come from all kinds of different places and there might be things they share in common, but yeah, they're just complex.
