What Do Women Want?
Sir gawaine was approached by a woman who asked him to marry her. She said she had been alone for years and needed a husband. Sir gawaine thought about it, then decided that he could give her what she wanted. He told her: 'Who gave you permission to drink from my sacred well?' And she replied: 'You came here and took what was mine' The next day the knights went out across the countryside with leather-bound books of women's wishes. They wrote down everything they want - children, love, land, money,. possibility after another.
