Tress of the Emerald Sea

Hoid is the narrator of this story. It's not just like a fable or something that hoid has made up this really did happen somewhere in the Cosmere. My best guess for who the audience of hoid is in this story are some group of people more than one. And there is a specific line towards the end of the book around the sorcerer reveal that along with some other hints points me in that direction.
