Is Comedy a Way of Connecting With the World?
Since I was a kid, I've used comedy and humour to connect because what happens is if you make a mistake, you look like a twat. But if you own it, you have some sort of, you know, I remember once when I was playing cards with my father - there's a monopoly store about it. My parents weren't that rich and once for putting, we just had a single digestive biscuit. And they put it on the table and I threw it at my dad and my dad goes, why is that fly through the air? And a split second, I thought, it's a plain biscuit. Lovely work. It's a great child. So anyway
