Bill James and the World of Baseball

Every human being on earth is trying to figure out how the world works all the time. Bill james created a movement that has replaced one expert with another. The point was to change the spirit in which the expert operates, to unsettle their explanations. What i was always trying to do was open up the discussion to more ways of looking at the problem. A and war, or any other absolute measure, has the opposite effect. It's not opening up the discussion. It's sayng, ok, we're done. One.
