The naive batching is to just use the same aggregation technique that applies to verifying Schnorr signatures. So if you need to verify a large number of Schnorr signatures, there's a way in which you can actually save some work there. The basic design was just focused on the privacy of the treasury. Something that, as we learned, these systems do need to provide some compliance capabilities.
