The Neurotic Is Always Someplace Else
The self will attempt to push this neglected part forward for recognition. The neurotic is always one phase behind where his reality is. When he should be outgrowing childish behavior, he hangs on to it. Hanging onto a life he never loved or enjoyed because he wasn't there. It usually contains great energy, the gold in the dung,. In the Bible that is the stone that was rejected that became the cornerstone.
