The 15-Minute City
The 15-minute city is a concept that has been adopted by cities around the world. In Paris, Mayor Anne Hidalgo plans to adopt it as part of her re-election platform in 2020. A 1920s urban planner named Clarence Perry came up with an idea for what would be called a neighborhood unit. The streets inside the circle would be designed so that they would invite walking and cycling.
