The Indo Arians Migrated Into the Indis Valley
Artistically, it seems that the indo arians made very few depictions of the gods. They were understood as being abstract and representing cosmic or elemental forces. But they did make elaborate sacrificial offerings, sometimes called shrauta, to these deities. And they composed hymns and verse tales about these gods as part of these offerings. The Rigveda does tell of the war god ind indra, riding a horse drawn chariot and attacking great fortresses.
