The Environmental Movement and the Keystone XL Pipeline

Sour crude comes from either Canada or Venezuela you've got a variety of sources around the world. The kind of oil that the US refineries are tuned for they were built many years ago to accommodate a certain volume of Venezuela crude is that volumes fallen offCanada has an opportunity to replace it which is why XL wanted to build the Keystone XL pipeline but for purely political reasons nothing to do with industryNothing to do with energy security I would argue little to do the environment for political reasons that project was stopped.
