The Effects of THC and CBD on Inflammation
The anti-inflammatory effects of THC and CBD are different. For THC, it would be primarily through CB2 receptor activation because THC is an agonist of the CB2 receptor. But for CBD, there are multiple mechanisms, but it's generally not through the CB1 orCB2 receptor. Other mechanisms of action have been through some nuclear receptors called P-PARSThrough modulating Cox activity or lipoxo. And CB2 can modulate enzyme activity as well. So they both have a 19-bometry effect.
